Open Question: Trolling for Smallmouth bass?
I’m fishing on a lake in northern Wisconsin. I plan to canoe with a few poles out the back at about 10 ft deep of water (the weed line). I’ve never done this before, so I don’t really know what kind of bait/rig would be. Oh yeh, the water is crystal clear. There’s a good chance that I would also be fishing over sand b/c when there are no weeds, teh bottom is total sand. I don’t have a lot of stuff to pick from, so multiple suggestions would be great. I do have lots of fake worms with twister tails on the end, in case those would work. Thanks!

Resolved Question: Wisconsin city famous for aliens?
one of my great grandma’s grew up in wisconsin (99% sure, but the family histories a little muddled) she lived on a farm and apparently she told my dad one time that they would see strange things in the fields sometimes. she didn’t like to talk about it a lot, but she said that one time she saw something very tall and spindly running through a field and that it was the scariest thing she’d ever seen. i’m pretty sure the name of the town she grew up in was Green Grass, or Greengrass. when i was in middle school, i told this story to my class and my social studies teacher had heard of the town and knew it was famous for alien sightings. the problem is i’ve searched the internet and can’t find anything about a town called Green Grass anywhere let alone in Wisconsin. i was wondering if anyone had heard of it? its entirely possible that it was in a different state (probably somewhere in the midwest though) or that the town had a different name similar to “Green Grass”. any insights? could the town name have been changed at any point or incorporated into a different city?

i have found two other wisconsin cities supposedly famous for ufo’s (Belleville and Elmwood) and two wisconsin cities with similar names (Greenfield and Green Lake) none of these seem to be the town that i am looking for.
thank you! any info helps!

Resolved Question: Northern Wisconsin Bass Fishing?
I am going to Northern wisconsin on June 10-14. I will be fishing a lot on poupart lake, my friends family have cabins on it. I live in Illinois and I am having a hard time finding water temperatures. I need to know what they are so I can decide if bass are in clear-cut summer patterns or if they are transitioning out of the spawn or if the are possibly still spawning.

If anyone knows what the water temps are up there or have experience bass fishing up north this time of year I would greatly appreciate any info.
