Voting Question: Does this sound like a good deal?
My husbands friends, mother just bought a house. She is currently living in a mobil home community. The mobile home is paid off and its sitting on the corner facing a lake. She is willing to sale it to us for only $4000.00 and all we’d have to pay for is the rental space, but it needs lots of fixing up. half of the house has no electricity and the floors need to be completely fixed. there is also water damaged from leaky tubs and toilets. We would also have to purchase new appliances like washer/dryer, stove, fridge and dishwasher. So the house is paid off but is it worth it for all the fix ups. I’m a first time buyer, so i’m a little nervous. What do you think. Also the rental space cost also covers the utilities.
